Making the path / performance

The performance was shown on the Konteksty festival in Sokołowsko. The action referred to the theme of the festival and to Richard Long’s work „A line made by walking”. In my work, by prolonged action, the focus has been shifted to the process of creating the path. Walking around for 8 hours I walked about 30 km, I could get to another city or go some mountain route with beautiful views – but I chose to go deeper into myself. The action had a meditative character and left an efemerical trace in space in the form of an absurd path leading to „nowhere”.
