Miluška Moja (eng. My darling)
The performance referred to my experiences and memories, linked to my grandfather who was at that time hospitalized to have water removed from his lungs. When I was six years old, I was saved from drowning by my grandfather, on Saint John’s day. The performance featured two songs (miluśka moja – the first song sung to me by my grandfather that I can remember) and a Bulgarian song Pusta Mladość (eng. Empty youth) – song of the last resort, capable of stopping death, sent within the Voyager spacecraft into space. I also used: a self-made interface that enables changing the projection and sound by dipping the head under the water and a potato, which maintained the projections at the later stage.
