Still life with model from the series Artist in Her Studio / painting, video preformance

The work is the first in the series “Artist in her Studio”, in which I intend to take the theme present in paintings from European culture, “Artist in the Studio”, and
reinterpret it. This motif depicts the artist at work and a female model who becomes an attribute – an object representing the painter’s profession. It is a onesided
hieratic relationship. In my realisation, I interrupt this situation by becoming both subject and object of art. I am at the same time a model and a painter,
a photographer and a performer, entering the space as if it were a scenography.
